How to Get Here

Micat

If you are travelling to Moreton Island with a four wheel drive, you will want to take the Micat barge. The drive to The Gutter Bar from the drop off point is around 50 minutes via the Middle Road and Eastern Beach. You can also access The Gutter Bar via the Western Beach, you will need to head east then take the Tangalooma Bypass. It is important to remember tides will affect our accessibility, anything above a 1.5m tide on the Western Beach and you will be driving through  water.
